Abstract
The new karstic fissure filling of Cuzal (Quercy, Southern France) has yielded a diversified small mammal fauna including to date 17 species among which 7 are new for the Quercy phosphorites. The classical taxo n Paroxyclaenus lemuroides TEILHARD, 1921 (Pantolesta, Paroxyclaeninae ) formerly known exclusively in the locality of Memerlin (Lot), has be en identified there. Some elements suggest that the Cuzal fauna could be Late Lutetian in age (MP 13-14).
