V. Rajendran, INTERNAL-PRESSURE STUDIES OF BINARY-MIXTURES OF HIGHER ALCOHOLS IN TEA AT 303.15-K, Indian Journal of Pure & Applied Physics, 31(11), 1993, pp. 812-814
Internal pressure and its excess values for the binary liquid mixtures
of triethylamine with ethanol, n-propanol, n-butanol, phenol and o-cr
esol, over the entire range of mole fraction have been calculated usin
g the measured ultrasonic velocity and density data. The present metho
d involves the use of molecular diameter. The results suggest that it
provides useful information on study of intermolecular interaction in
binary liquid mixtures.
