Abstract
A microcomputer-based sodar system that has been designed and develope d at the National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi, is described in this paper. The system offers flexibility in the operational characteristi cs, in data storage facilities and easy adjustability in both sampling and display parameters. The quality of the echograms from microcomput er-based system is comparable to the facsimile records.
