Abstract
We study the planar (two-dimensional) nonrelativistic Bose gas in a ho mogeneous magnetic field, using the technique of the Mellin integral t ransform, yielding complete expansions in the limit of weak fields. We then employ these to investigate the remarkable magnetic properties o f the planar Bose gas.
