Based on binary coding and prime factorization, an improvement of the
single-key-lock method for access control is presented. In our method,
each accessor is associated with a key and each resource is associate
d with a lock vector. Through simple mathematical operations on the co
rresponding key and lock vector, the system can easily verify the acce
ss right for an accessor with respect to the referenced resource. Furt
hermore, by our improvement, the system can easily handle the dynamic
access control problem, such as adding/deleting accessors or resources
