Abstract
Recent evidence indicates that the c-Myc proto-oncogene activates tran scription of cdc25A. The Cdc25A protein phosphatase is required both f or progression through mitosis and for Myc-induced apoptosis, making c dc25A the most attractive Myc target gene identified so far.
