Mc. Pascualmarti et al., THE LINEAR ABSORBANCES METHOD ADAPTED TO SYSTEMS WITH 2 INTERFERING COMPOUNDS - THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL-STUDY, Fresenius' journal of analytical chemistry, 347(8-9), 1993, pp. 305-313
The paper exposes the theoretical and experimental study performed wit
h the purpose to extend the application of the Linear Absorbances Meth
od to more complex systems, which present two spectral interferences.
The curves of collinearity are developed and a theoretical study of th
em is carried out. The theoretical equations developed are experimenta
lly tested and the influence of the variables involved in the Linear A
bsorbance Method is studied, too. It is concluded that the use of coup
les of collinear wavelengths of the interferents allows to obtain the
concentration of a compound in the presence of two interfering substan
ces.
