Abstract
A series of stable beta-phosphorylated five membered ring nitroxides w as prepared by intramolecular aminomercuration of alkenyl alpha-aminop hosphonates. The structure of these nitroxides was deduced from their C-13 and P-31 coupling constants and from force field calculations.
