Results of measurements of the fast neutron flux underground at 20 met
ers water equivalent (mwe) depth are presented. Neutrons were identifi
ed by pulse shape discrimination using a 4.5 1 liquid scintillator det
ector. The integral flux of neutrons with energy 11.5 less-than-or-equ
al-to E(n) less-than-or-equal-to 50 MeV was found to be (1.07(-0.30)+0
.41) x 10(-6) cm-2 s-1.
