Abstract
Non-renewable resource extraction is nearly always capital-intensive a nd extraction capital tends to be non-malleable. In this paper we pres ent and discuss a dynamic discrete-time model of resource extraction e mbodying non-malleable capital which can generate highly diverse patte rns of price behaviour.
