Abstract
Biopharmaceutical companies are increasingly concerned with issues rel ated to bringing products to market quickly and economically. Factors affecting time-to-market include product and process development, regu latory compliance and approval. The review focuses on clarification an d prefiltration technology, factors critical to the selection and desi gn of filtration trains, and their impact on line economies.
