Aaa. Abdelazim, STUDY BY INVERSE GAS-CHROMATOGRAPHY OF THE INTERACTION OF POLYISOBUTYLENE WITH VARIOUS SOLVENTS, Arabian journal for science and engineering, 18(3), 1993, pp. 397-401
Inverse gas chromatography (IGC) has been utilized to generate polymer
-solvent interaction data for polyisobutylene and four different chemi
cal families of solvents. These families possess systematic increase o
f backbone length. The specific retention volume, the Flory-Huggins in
teraction coefficient chi12, and the excess cohesive energy per unit v
olume, B-12 are presented.
