Abstract
To study the effect of the intermolecular force to the capacity ratio in HPLC, the sealed particle theory and the two dimension lattice theo ry were respectively applied to study intermolecular interaction betwe en the solvent molecules and the solute molecules in the liquid phase and on the stationary phase. We also derived a quantitative relationsh ip between retention value and the intermolecular force, and the equat ion was testified by experiment.
