Abstract
The new carrier, bis (hydroxypropyl) imidazolium microcrystalline cell ulose (BHP MCC) is presented in this paper. The novel carrier is capab le of quantitative removal of heparin from heparin-containing plasma s amples. Optimal reaction parameters for the preparation of microcrysta lline aminoderivative carrier are examined and application of a prepar ed carrier is demonstrated.
