Abstract
The effectiveness of a stability monitoring and maintenance program fo r the Kajaani FS-200 fibre analyser was assessed over six months. Stab ility monitoring had two benefits, firstly it gave users of the Kajaan i FS-200 greater confidence in measurements made on the instrument and secondly it enabled early detection of problems such as partial block ages. The schedules maintenance program also minimized downtime.
