Abstract
This is the case of a patient who received psychiatric treatment for a period of over 60 years. For the most part he received drug treatment , initially also involving electroshock therapy combined with pyretoth erapy. During the last 20 years he lived (and worked) in a psychiatric home with an adjoining agricultural farm. He died at the age of 94.
