Abstract
In March - May 1991, during of technical experiments with new scientif ic drilling equipment on the r/v ''Bavenit'' several shallow boreholes were drilled in some Eastern Central Atlantic seamounts. The first ig neous rock cores obtainted by drilling in Russia, allowed to refine es sentially previous knowledges of the geological structure of Josephine , Amper and Gorringe Bank summits.
