ch concerning the opiate system. It includes papers published during 1
992 involving the behavioral. nonanalgesic, effects of the endogenous
opiate peptides. The specific topics this year include stress; toleran

on; mental illness and mood; learning, memory, and reward; cardiovascu
lar responses; respiration and thermoregulation; seizures and other ne
urological disorders; electrical-related activity; general activity an
d locomotion: sex, pregnancy. and development; immunological responses
; and other behaviors.
