Abstract
o-Ps intensities and lifetimes show very good correlation to surface a rea and cavity size, respectively, of surface-active materials. Tau3 a nd I3 values for Pt, 5% Pt-on-charcoal, Pd and 5% Pd-on-charcoal powde rs are presented. Surface area and cavity size are discussed and inter preted in terms of previously determined o-Ps lifetimes and intensitie s in abs. EtOH/pentene isomer/Pt or Pd mixtures.
