Abstract
The enhancement of radial ion transport induced by spatially inhomogen eous rf power deposition is studied during ion cyclotron resonant heat ing in a tokamak. It is shown that the magnitude of this ion flux is d ependent on the inhomogeneous factor F and its velocity derivative par tial derivative F/partial derivative v. In the special power depositio n cases, this radial flux is presented.
