Abstract
Chloroterpene mixtures identified with toxaphene (PCC) were analyzed i n Baltic and Arctic salmon, trout and cod samples and compared with he xachlorocyclohexane (HCH), chlordane (SCHLOR), DDT and PCB residues. T he highest PCC levels in fish were found in some samples from East Fin land. Contents of PCCs in Arctic fish were at the same order as in Bal tic fish. In contrary, HCH, SCHLOR, DDT and PCB levels were significan tly higher in Baltic fish.
