Abstract
Apricot tree is an example of completely sympodial branching tree. The aerial architecture and the dynamic of growth of this species are pre sented through six different organization levels that contribute to th e edification of the observed form of the mature tree: metamer, growth unit, annual shoot, stem, elementary branched system and adult tree. Continuous evolution of each organization level all along ontogenesis is shown.
