Abstract
We describe acute mononeuropathy multiples in a patient with chronic u lcerative colitis. The symptoms of neuropathy were well correlated wit h the disease activity of colitis. Both electrophysiological study and sural nerve biopsy revealed axonal degeneration. Mononeuropathy multi ples may be an extraintestinal manifestation of ulcerative colitis.
