Abstract
X-Ray analysis was carried out of ,4,6-tri-t-butylphenyl)-1-phospha-1, 2,3-butatriene as a ligand of pentacarbonyltungsten complex. The heter ocumulene system was found to be planar with a rod framework coordinat ing to the tungsten metal at the phosphorus atom in a sigma-type coord ination.
