Eb. Khobotova et al., PURIFICATION OF COPPER-CONTAINING WASTEWATERS WITH VION CHEMISORPTIONFIBERS, Journal of applied chemistry of the USSR, 65(11), 1992, pp. 2148-2150
The use of VION chemisorption fibers for the extraction of copper(II)
ions from wastewaters has been demonstrated. The fibers and their form
(acidic or basic) have been selected to,achieve maximum selectivity i
n the extraction of copper(II) on the background of calcium ions. The
VION KN-1 fiber has been found to be the most effective sorbent for th
e reduction of the copper(II) concentration to the MPC (maximum permis
sible concentration).
