Ap. Borisov et Vd. Makhaev, INFLUENCE OF AMMONIA ON THE SOLUBILITY OF SODIUM-BOROHYDRIDE IN POLYETHER SOLUTIONS, Journal of applied chemistry of the USSR, 65(11), 1992, pp. 2157-2158
The solubility of sodium borohydride in 1,2-dimethoxyethane (DME) and
the dimethyl ether of diethylene glycol (diglyme) is substantially inc
reased in the presence of ammonia, and at room temperature it is about
16 g/100 ml of DME. The data obtained made it possible to develop a p
rocedure for the crystallization of sodium borohydride from DME.
