Abstract
In powdery poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide)-poly(6-hexanelactam) diblock copolymers, the occurrence of an amorphous interphase consist ing of both the blocks was indirectly proved by calorimetric and sorpt ion methods. The copolymer shows a compatibilizing effect in solution- cast films made from the blends of both homopolymers.
