Five new monoclonal antibodies (Mabs) recognising the Lewis(y/b) hapte
n of the IgG isotype have been produced following immunisation with ra
t anti-idiotypic antiserum to C14, an IgM Lewis(y/b) hapten Mab and bo
osting with C14gp200 antigen. They have the same fine specificity as t
he original Mab binding to a cell surface and secreted antigen prefere
ntially expressed by colorectal tumour cells.
