Abstract
Raman and high resolution IR spectra (at room temperature) have been r ecorded for the CF3CN and CF3CCH molecules in the gaseous state. A cal culation of the frequencies and forms of the normal vibrations of both molecules has been carried out and the force field has been refined b y the iterative consistency method. The results of the calculation sho w good agreement with the experimental values.
