Abstract
A survey of the frozen food industry in Queensland in June 1989 indica ted a number of aspects relating to the storage, distribution and tran sport of frozen food which would not only adversely affect product qua lity but which also contravened government regulations and the Industr y Code of Practice. As a result of this survey, the Code has been revi sed, and relevant sections of the industry have introduced procedures to minimise temperature fluctuations throughout the cold chain and to improve product quality.
