Ig. Chernysh et al., THE ACTIVITY OF DISPERSED OXIDES ON NATURAL AND EXFOLIATED GRAPHITE SURFACES, Reaction kinetics and catalysis letters, 50(1-2), 1993, pp. 273-277
Experimental data obtained indicate that ion exchange on the graphite
surface can be attributed to impurity oxides. During exfoliated graphi
te oxidation reactions, inorganic oxides act as catalysts (Fe2O3, Cr2O
3 ), inhibitors (B2O3, Al2O3) or are inert.
