Abstract
Experimental data obtained indicate that ion exchange on the graphite surface can be attributed to impurity oxides. During exfoliated graphi te oxidation reactions, inorganic oxides act as catalysts (Fe2O3, Cr2O 3 ), inhibitors (B2O3, Al2O3) or are inert.
