Abstract
The surgery of the remaining carotid artery is a very difficult proced ure considering the hight risk related to the peroperative clamping. E xtracranial to intracranial by pass of the thrombosed side permit to c arry out in better conditions the controlateral endarterectomy without using intravascular shunt.
