Abstract
The present case report describes a 20-year-old patient with a benign renal tumor (angiomyolipoma of the kidney). In the course of the nephr ectomy a massive pulmonary embolism occurred with cardiac arrest. Afte r reanimation, pulmonary angiography revealed a disseminated pulmonary embolism.
