Abstract
Benign biliary stricture developing after hepatectomy is uncommon and its management remains controversial. We experienced a case of biliary stricture following hepatectomy for traumatic hepatic rupture, which was successfully treated with percutaneous transhepatic dilatation. Pe rcutaneous transhepatic dilatation may be considered as one of the opt ions in the treatment of anatomically complicated cases.
