Abstract
The IkappaB proteins bind to Rel/NF-kappaB transcription factors and m odulate their activities. Although originally described only as cytopl asmic inhibitors of Rel/NF-kappaB transcription complexes, it is now c lear that IkappaB proteins also have other functions.
