Abstract
Following advances during the past 5 years in our understanding of the molecular structure of receptors for IgE, progress has been made in e lucidating the structure and function of IgE receptors and the signall ing events through these receptors. IgE is not the only ligand for som e of these receptors, leading to their having unexpected and interesti ng biological activities.
