This paper studies the problem of information sharing among insiders i
n a financial market with traders who are not price takers, but act st
rategically. The different types of associations are ranked from the v
iewpoint of insiders' profits. As a byproduct, I also consider the dec
ision problem faced by a monopolistic producer of information who is a
ble to control the quality of the information he sells.
