Abstract
A relativistic molecular orbital calculation for UF4 has been made by the use of the discrete-variational Xalpha method. The results obtaine d are used to interpret the experimental spectra of X-ray photoelectro ns of UF4 and internal conversion electrons from U-235m. The theoretic al values for the peak positions and relative peak intensities are in good agreement with the measured ones.
