Abstract
Multireference configuration interaction study of potential energy cur ves for the ground and lowest excited states for dissociative electron attachment are presented for CHCl3/CHCl3-, CHBr3/CHBr3- and CHI3/CHI3 - systems. Reasonable agreement has been found with available experime ntal data for electron affinities, and comparison with other theoretic al data is also made.
