Abstract
Receiver with small noise temperatures are necessary for a great tempe rature resolution in the THz-frequency-band radiometry. Therefore the mixer, one transformation network and the HEMT-IF-amplifier are connec ted to a compact unit. The low loss transformation network matches the reflection coefficients at the mixer output and HEMT input for a smal l overall noise temperature.
