Abstract
An experimental model of acute subarachnoidal inflammation in rabbits is introduced. Complement-C5a-fragment induces perivascular cellular i nfiltration in arteriols within one hour after intracisternal applicat ion. The electron microscopic findings are explained as the early stag es of cerebral vasculitis.
