We estimate the tidal radius of an open star cluster (OSCs) centered i
n a nonstationary gas-star complex (GSC) moving in a circular orbit in
the Galactic field. We obtain analytic solutions for the maximum size
of a tidally stable OSC during the period of loss of gas and dust fro
m the central region of the GSC. The tidal sizes of such OSCs before r
apid (impulsive) and slow mass loss from the central region of the GSC
are respectively 1.37-2.62 and 1.19-1.77 times smaller than those obt
ained by considering only the influence of the Galactic field on the c
luster.
