Abstract
The common agent is an implementation of an ISO-compliant management a gent that supports multiple management protocols and the run-time addi tion of new classes of managed objects. Support is also provided for m anaging objects that are defined according to the structure of managem ent information, defined by the Internet Engineering Task Force, and t he structure of management information defined by ISO.
