Abstract
Microresonator structures have been fabricated from (Zn,Cd)Se/Zn(S,Se) quantum well material. The resonators, which are designed in the ''wh ispering gallery'' geometry, have been optically pumped at room temper ature with threshold excitation levels of 100 kW/cm2.
