Nm. Vetsler, CHANGE IN STRUCTURE OF ZOOPLANKTON COMMUNITY WITH AN INCREASE IN SOCKEYE POPULATION IN DALNEE LAKE (KAMCHATKA), Soviet journal of ecology, 23(6), 1992, pp. 396-400
On the example of one of the salmon lakes of Kamchatka, it was shown t
hat a natural increase in the population of young sockeye affects the
condition of the zooplankton community. To evaluate consumption, the a
uthors calculated elimination of individual age stages of Cyclops. A r
eduction was noted in quantitative development of food zooplankton, an
d a change in the community's species and size structure.
