Hj. Niemann, THE BOUNDARY-LAYER WIND-TUNNEL - AN EXPERIMENTAL TOOL IN BUILDING AERODYNAMICS AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING, Journal of wind engineering and industrial aerodynamics, 48(2-3), 1993, pp. 145-161
Some of the major difficulties in wind tunnel experiments arise from t
he blockage effect, the Reynolds number disparity, and the possible er
rors induced by the response of the tubing system to pressure fluctuat
ions. These are discussed and methods to solve the problems are presen
ted, including typical examples of application.
