Abstract
The new and important problem of latex allergy deserves the attention of all health care professionals and institutions. latex products we u se every day may cause serious consequences for patients and coworkers . All providers must develop a plan for protecting allergic patients a nd staff from latex exposure, and for managing allergic reactions shou ld they occur.
