Abstract
ADEPT depends on selective delivery of enzyme to tumour. We have used radiolabelled antibody-enzyme conjugate and gamma camera imaging to as sess enzyme delivery to tumour and normal tissues. Comparison with dir ect enzyme measurements in plasma confirms the presence of high tumour to normal tissue ratios in man at the time when prodrug is given. Thi s makes a sound basis for successful ADEPT.
