Abstract
Initiated in 1988, the Electronic Components Plan of the French Minist ry of Defense (PACEO) is reaching now a second phase, this paper revie ws the results of PACEO 1 and indicates the directions that are taken for the second step PACEO 2, which is presently at its starting phase.
