Abstract
The increase in cultural diversity of the urban populations of the Uni ted States is presenting a challenge for the delivery of culturally re levant care by community health care nurses. We developed a model for delivering such care built on key theoretical concepts derived from co mmunity health nursing, transcultural nursing, self-efficacy, and soci al support theories.
